It would be great if all or some of them were transferred so that we have at least a partial history but this is not necessarily required. However, if you had any x-rays taken within the last year, then these would be great to have because another set of x-rays will need to be taken at our office if we do not have them.
You will need to come into our office and sign our records release form. We’ll send this to your previous office which will allow them to forward your records to us. This may take some time depending on your previous office and how they choose to send the information.
Alternatively, you can always request a copy of your dental records yourself. This way you will not have to sign our release form and they will be able to give them directly to you. Just bring them with you to your first appointment with us.

Yes, we do. We will electronically submit your dental claim to your insurance provider and can also accept payments directly from them. In this case, your only obligation at the time of your appointment is to pay the difference between your treatment cost and how much your insurance company will cover.
Remember, it is your insurance policy and it is your responsibility to know what is and is not covered. We can certainly help you understand what your coverage details are but the ultimate responsibility is yours to know.
